Six architects have been shortlisted in a competition to come up with new and innovative ideas for future homes for top housebuilder Taylor Wimpey. The competition, which is organised by the Royal Institute of British Architects, is part of the housebuilder’s future-gazing initiative, called Project 2020. The initiative is aiming to evaluate trends and innovations to help shape and futureproof the company’s range for 2020 and beyond.
The design competition attracted more than 100 entries and the six shortlisted architects are:
- Artform Architects
- Igor Russo and Razvan Andrei
- More Design
- Newground Architects
- Openstudio Architects
- Origin 3 Studio.
The architects will be interviewed by the judging panel in September.
