Competition to offer £4m for whole-life building innovation

A competition launching in the new year is set to offer £4m to innovators in building whole-life performance. The funding from government agency Innovate UK and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council aims to invest in collaborative research and development projects that will come up with innovative products, processes and services for improving the whole-life performance of buildings.

The Building Whole-Life Performance Competition will call for expressions of interest by 8 April 2015 with awarded projects set to start next autumn.
