A consortium of 11 affordable housing providers is going out to tender to source architects and employer’s agents for its professional services framework agreement. The Wayfarer Consortium, which was founded in 2003, has so far collectively attracted funding for nearly 8,000 affordable and keyworker homes across the Southern counties, securing grants of more than £260m. It manages and owns more than 76,000 homes across the Southern counties, focusing on sustainable communities.
Housing provider First Wessex will be managing the process on behalf of members of the Wayfarer Consortium, which includes Radian, Raven, Bracknell Forest Homes, Havant Housing Association, Southampton City Council and others. Interested parties should register on the Housing Procurement Portal.
